A global leader in consumer and business credit reporting and marketing services, Experian supports customers in more than 80 countries. The company’s largest business is direct-to-consumer, providing credit and identity monitoring to individuals in North America. Experian also has similar products in the U.K., as well as relationships in South Africa, Brazil, Australia, and several countries in the European Union.

Over the years, Worldpay has become a strategic partner and the relationship has removed much of the complexity in managing payments, so the company can focus on its core competencies. Worldpay solutions enable Experian to improve transaction approvals and reduce the technology burden on merchants. Worldpay’s robust security offerings help control risk and its tokenization services enable Experian to maintain PCI Level 1 status.

While Experian owns and uses various fraud solutions, the company has discovered something unique in Worldpay’s offerings – in-depth and invaluable payments data – which applies additional checks on the authorization or from the chargeback perspective that don’t exist in standard fraud systems.
