There will be a possible delay to the full enforcement of SCA, which had been due to go into effect on 14 September 2019. SCA is a key part of PSD2, and was due to be applied on all electronic transactions in the European Economic Area (EEA) this year.
Alternative Payment Methods are payment types that are made without a debit or credit card – such as a bank transfer or a eWallet. There are more than 300 Alternative Payment Methods globally.
