We’re spending the week at ETA TRANSACT 17, the premiere payments technology event, to make connections, gain insight from industry leaders and introduce our newest solution for chip card payment processing – Quick Chip technology.

From payments executives to tech startup founders, thousands have descended upon Las Vegas this week to discuss all the latest news and trends in the payments industry. We’re here with them, eager to share some news of our own.

Beginning May 1st, Worldpay now offers Quick Chip technology, a chip card processing upgrade that reduces chip card-in-terminal wait times from nearly 20 seconds to just three – making it the first payment processor to offer the technology in the U.S. Instead of keeping their chip card in a point-of-sale reader for the duration of a transaction, consumers can head on their way well before their purchase is approved.

Perhaps more importantly, Worldpay’s Quick Chip technology provides the same high-level security consumers have come to expect when using their chip card to shop with retailers, restaurants and convenience merchants. This means consumers will no longer have to sacrifice speed when it comes to making secure transactions with their chip cards -- it’s a win-win for both merchants and consumers.

Interested in experiencing it for yourself? Visit booth 1051 at ETA TRANSACT 17 in Las Vegas, May 10-12, for your own personal demo.
