Worldpay and enterprise software company Zuora have partnered to launch an integrated global payments solution which will enable businesses to offer smarter online subscription models for everything from digital software to music, movies, marketplaces, news, video games, sports, social and TV.
One of the first companies to benefit from the more powerful, flexible billing integration will be OZ. The streaming video service provides premium lifestyle, music, sports, documentaries and a host of entertainment channels via subscription. Customised for mobile and web, OZ allows creators and content owners to launch exclusive channels to draw in subscribers across multiple devices, networks and regions including Europe, North America and Latin America.
Worldpay’s comprehensive range of acquiring, gateway, and fraud risk management services has been boosted with the addition of Zuora’s relationship business management platform. This means organisations will be able to offer flexible subscription services, better tailored to specific markets and user types, and seamlessly process secure payments in multiple currencies. Zuora’ s technology also integrates with existing business software applications such as Customer Relationship Management tools (CRM), meaning businesses will be able to link payment data immediately to customer profiles to get a more detailed view of their purchasing preferences and better tailor their subscription offerings for each user.

It provided OZ with a pre-built and integrated system, delivering greater flexibility, and savings of up to 60 per cent in development time and costs.
