Free digital skills workshop

On Friday 10th June the Association of Town & City Management (ATCM) and Worldpay brought together experts from some of the UK's most innovative technology companies to host a free digital skills workshop in Great Yarmouth.

Technology is transforming the high-street and many business owners are understandably apprehensive about what the future holds. Today's digitally driven consumers take for granted the ability to flit between in-store and the online channels. And they want retailers to provide the same flexibility - regardless of their size. What should small and independent retailers be doing to ensure they are keeping pace with what modern shoppers want?

Hosted by Apprentice winner Tim Campbell, this two and half hour workshop was designed to provide retailers with practical advice that will help them turn this period of extreme change into opportunity and growth.

Over a complimentary breakfast delegates learned how free and easily accessible technology can help them:
  • Free up an extra hour of your time each week
  • Reach new customers and put themselves on the map with effective online marketing
  • Build a website that customers will love
  • Spend more time with their customers

This workshop was also the launch of Worldpay’s summer campaign in Great Yarmouth, designed to help retailers use technology to help them grow.
