How do the Hosted Payment Pages deliver page content to shoppers?

Hosted Payment Pages (HPP) use Amazon CloudFront, a global Content Delivery Network (CDN), to deliver static page content such as images, CSS and JavaScript. Using a CDN means that static page content can be delivered to the shopper's browser more locally, which in turn reduces page load times and ultimately improves page performance.

If your systems need to whitelist host names, please ensure that both the primary and secondary host names below are whitelisted:

Primary host names

  • cdn-test.worldpay.com - used within pages delivered as part of integration testing via the HPP sandbox environment
  • cdn.worldpay.com - used within pages delivered to shoppers making live payments

Secondary host names

If our CDN provider is unavailable, static page content will automatically be delivered from the secondary host:

  • payments-test.worldpay.com - used within pages delivered as part of integration testing via the HPP sandbox environment
  • payments.worldpay.com - used within pages delivered to shoppers making live payments
