Struggling with omni-channel? We have the solution.

We’ve partnered with omni-channel experts, Envoy Digital, to develop a solution that brings together offline and online channels, providing a single unified customer experience. We’ll be showcasing the solution at this year’s Hybris Summit, and caught up with Envoy’s eCommerce Director & Founder, Branwell Moffat, to find out more.

This year’s annual SAP Hybris Live: Global Summit promises to be bigger and better than ever. As well as the chance to learn about delivering the great experiences your customers demand, you can discover a new location, as the event moves to Barcelona. As a veteran attendee, I’m really looking forward to it.

For me, the summit has always been a valuable trip.  It’s a time for Hybris (and their eco-system of partners) to demonstrate new innovations, their roadmaps of enhancements, and showcase their expertise through the informative keynotes and breakout sessions.  

This year I have the privilege of doing a talk with our partner Worldpay. We’ve been partners for a long time, and they’re one of the few payment providers with a real investment in their offering for Hybris and omni-channel.

We will be doing a short demo of our new in-store solution that allows customers to purchase through a website while they are in the store, using Worldpay's chip and pin Total payment solution. 

The solution is truly ground breaking as it doesn’t require the retailer to operate a separate website or app running in-store, this solution uses the retailer’s own existing Hybris infrastructure while introducing a new payment journey for in-store customers. This means it can be implemented in a very short space of time at a low cost with little training overheads. 

We can furthermore scale the solution, incorporating the innovative Hybris Assisted Service Mode (ASM), meaning retailers can optimise the user experience. Store staff will be able to pick up the customer's existing online journey to process payment instore, and to start the customer viewing journey instore and enable the shopper to complete the transaction at home.
The aim of our solution is to break down the barrier between online and offline for the customer.
